Force Internet Explorer to render in IE8

Having trouble getting something to work in one of the Internet Explorer versions? If something is working in one more versions of Internet Explorer, but not another, you can force Internet Explorer to render you webpage to render in a version that does work. Some of my current and previous projects that I’ve worked on, I’ve ran into that issue.

After doing some research, I ran across a solution on Stackoverflow.com. Stackoverflow.com is a great resource for help, if your running into a issue with web development, flash development, css, or any other type of development. The solution is:

<meta http-equiv="X-UA-Compatible" content="IE=8" />

If you change the number at the end, you can force Internet Explorer to render in IE 8, 9, or any other version.
